A two-day international workshop on 'Syllabus and Course Curriculum Development' began at seminar room of Philosophy Department at Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus yesterday.
JU Philosophy Department arranged the event while JU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the workshop as chief guest.
Presided over by the Chairman of Philosophy Department Professor Tareq Chawdhory, while JU pro-VC Professor Dr. Abul Hossain, Treasurer Professor Dr. Abul Khair, Dean of JU Arts and Humanities faculty Professor Dr. Syed Kamrul Ahsan, VC of Eastern University Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, Professor of North South University Dr. Sharif Uddin Ahmed, Professor Dr. Narmen Kaneth and Professor of University of Liverpool of the United Kingdom Dr. Michael Magi were present as special guests.
VC Professor Farzana said that the students would be made as skilled and qualified human resources by the process of syllabus and course curriculum development.
She also hoped that the students could increase their personal skills besides their academic skills with the help of this workshop.
The Director of the project Professor Dr. Kamrul Ahsan conducted the workshop.
