Role Overview
Is responsible for directing Grameenphone's Brand Strategy & Brand Architecture, leading the continuous growth of Brand Equity aligned with company's strategic ambitions, leading initiatives for Brand preference growth especially in core segments, cascading of the brand principles in organizational culture, products/service launches, customer engagement, trade/ retail and service principles, directing brand translation into communication & creative execution & ensure appointment of right brand ambassadors in maximizing opportunities for raising brand awareness.
Job Responsibility
Be the custodian of the GrameenPhone Brand and other brands from the house of GrameenPhone
Sign off all creative & communication materials
Plan and strategize Brand Strategy e.g. brand guideline and designs and activities to establish and maintain brand salience in the market
Lead brand transformation from telecom operator to Digital Service Provider
Drive Awareness and likeability of Grameenphone Mother Brand
Align GP brand with global/ Telenor Brand practices
Evolve brand guidelines as necessary and periodically refresh the brand standards/specification
Develop brand campaigns periodically to drive key brand parameters i.e. brand salience, brand TOM, brand preference etc.
Provide brand direction to strategic campaigns
Direct management, delivery & development of Creative Agency & Internal Creative team
Ensure brand consistency throughout the customer journey, identify any shortfalls, initiate corrective action where necessary, educate relevant stakeholders
Manage an Internal Creative Team for developing campaigns and designs
Education and Experience requirements
Education:
Minimum business graduate, preferably with major in Marketing
Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in brand/ marketing and 4 years in a leadership role/ exposure to retail/ sales/ product will be an added advantage. Experience in Telecom is added advantage
