A long time after Babul Akter was picked up from his in-laws house in the early hours of Saturday, the police official contacted with family members.

In the afternoon, the renowned anti-militant specialist Babul claimed that he was called in by law enforcers to ‘discuss’ the case where his wife Mahmuda Akter Mitu was murdered by suspected militants.

However, he denied to disclose the information on where he was at the time.

When asked if he was arrested over his wife’s murder case, Babul was surprised and asked who said he was arrested.

“I was not arrested. The ones who are investigating the case, discussed various subjects with me,” he said.

Babul could not be contacted after he was picked at the late hours up by law enforcers from his in-laws Banasree home.

When asked if the discussions went on for the whole night, Babul did not give any answer.
