A young man hacked dead two women and injured another inside their home at Islambagh in the capital on Monday afternoon.

The dead were identified as Begum,46, and her grand daughter Borna Akhter, 20.

Begum's daughter Sima,30, who received critically injuries in the knife attack, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Police said a youth hacked dead two women at about 3:30pm.

Identity of the attacker and details of the attack could not be known yet.
