Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said Bangladesh will stay beside India if the neighbouring country is attacked following the ongoing tension with Pakistan.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has categorically said that Bangladesh would stand beside India if her neighbouring country is attacked by Pakistan.

"Indian journalists asked me about Bangladesh's stance if their country faces any such situation. I told them that both countries maintain brotherly relations. India helped us in every sector. So, if India is attacked, then Bangladesh will remain stay beside her," he said.

The Home Minister came up with the remarks at a dialogue with Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters Forum at its media centre on Tuesday.
