One Central leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) died mysteriously at his residence at gate number 2 of the campus tonight.

The victim was identified as Diaz Irfan Chowdhury,25, Joint Secretary of Central committee of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, student of M Phil of CU.

The police recovered his dead body from his residence at about 9.45 pm.

The body was hanging on a ceiling fan of the residence.

First of all, the police suspected that he hanged himself.

But the local activists of BCL alleged that somebody might kill him and hanged it on the ceiling fan.
