The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi will be observed across the country on December 13.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee today (Wednseday) as the new moon of the month of Rabiul Awal was not sighted in Bangladesh sky.
Joint Secretary Mr. Zakir Ahmed was chaired in this meeting.
The meeting was held at the Islamic Foundation’s Baitul Mukarram conference room.
Muslim of the world observed this day as the birth and death day of the holy Prophet (PBUH) Muhammad (Sm.).
Eid-e-Miladunnabi is the government holiday in Bangladesh
